170 km east of Chongqing, on the north bank of the river, Fengdu, on the Ming Hill, with a history of 1,900 years, has been regarded as the "City of Ghosts". It was the legendary capital of Ghost State by Daoists.

Shibaozhai  (literally translated into English: Stone Treasure Fortress) is located in Zhong County, at the south bank of the Yangtze River, 52 km away from Wanxian, it was first built in Qing Dynasty in 1750, with a height of 56 meters. Shibaozhai is simply a rectangular rock with sheer cliffs, standing on the riverside.

The Lesser Three Gorges, together with its competitor port Shennong Stream, are the 2 most exciting and famous stops in the Yangtze Three Gorges. They are often called the "highlight" of the cruise, or even the whole China trip. So you will always see one of them.
