All three pictures are taken during late April 2007. At this moment the cruise ships are docked at Maoping pier, which is around 50KM from downtown Yichang; and 70KM from Yichang airport. After the Chinese May Holiday (May 01 to May 07), most of the ships will be sailing down to Yichang city. This means that you will be able to sail through the 5-step Three Gorges Dam ship-locks, and the eastern section of the Xilng Gorge.
