Day 1 Urumqi (May 29 or September 20)
Get on board the CITS Express. The train sets off at 10:00 from Urumqi Railway Station.
10:30-11:00 Presentation of tour program at the bar carriage.
11:20-12:00 Lunch at the dining car.
12:00 Arrive at Turpan, a mountain basin and an ancient oasis town along the Silk Road.
12:30-18:30 Visit the ancient city of Jiaohe, Karez wells, a Uygur family, Valley of Vineyards, etc.
18:30-20:00 Dinner at a restaurant.
21:00 Back to the train which departs for Liuyuan.
 
Day 2
7:00 Morning call.
7:30-8:30 Breakfast at the dining car.
9:30 Arrive at Liuyuan Railway Station.
9:30-11:30 Leave for Dunhuang by bus.
12:00-13:30 Lunch at the Dunhuang Hotel.
13:30-18:00 Visit Mogao Grottoes, Mingsha Sand Dune, Crescent-Moon Spring, and take a ride on camelback.
18:00-18:30 Back to the hotel. At leisure.
18:30-20:00 Dinner and stay overnight at Dunhuang Hotel(4-star)or similar hotel.

Day 3
6:30 Morning call.
7:00-8:00 Breakfast at the hotel.
8:00-10:00 Back on board the train which departs for Jiayuguan.
12:30-14:00 Lunch at the dining car.
14:30 Arrive at the Jiayuguan Pass.
14:30-18:00 Visit west ends of the Great Wall, a painted corridor and the Great
Wall Museum.
18:00-19:30 Dinner at the hotel.
23:50 Back on board the train which departs for Xi'an.

Day 4
8:00 Morning call.
8:30-9:30 Breakfast at the dining car.
10:30-11:30 A Silk Road tour forum at the bar carriage.
12:00-13:30 Lunch at the dining car.
14:30-16:30 A forum at the bar carriage.
18:00-19:30 Dinner at the dining car.
20:00-22:30 At leisure.

Day 5
7:30-8:00 Breakfast on board the train.
8:00-9:00 Arrive in Xi'an, the eastern starting point of the Silk Road. Transferred to Xi'an Hotel(4-star) or similar hotel.
9:30-18:00 Visit the Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses, and the Bronze Chariots, City Wall. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Provincial Museum and Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
18:30-20:00 Dinner at a restaurant. Tang dynasty show after dinner.
23:00 Stay overnight at Xi'an Hotel.

Day 6
7:00 Morning call.
7:30-8:00 Return to the train.
 8:30 Breakfast on board the train.
11:30-12:20 Lunch on the train.
12:30 Arrive in Luoyang.
13:00-18:30 Visit Longmen Grottoes
18 :30-19:30 Dinner at a local restaurant.
19:30-21:00 At leisure.
21:30 Back on board the train which departs for Beijing.

Day 7 (June 04 or September 26)
6:30 Morning call.
7:00-7:45 Breakfast at the dining car.
8:30-9:30 At leisure.
10:00 Arrive in Beijing (West Railway Station).
