6 Nights 7 Days from Beijing to Urumqi

Day 1 Beijing (June 04 or September 26)
Get on board the CITS Express. The train sets off at 21:30 from Beijing West Railway Station.
22:00-22:30 Presentation of tour program on board the train.

Day 2
6:40 Morning call.
7:30 Arrive in Luoyang.
8:30-9:00 Breakfast at a hotel.
9:30-12:00 Visit Longmen Grottoes.
13:00-13:20 Back for lunch on board the train.
18:00-18:40 Dinner at the dining car.
20:00 Arrive in Xi'an, the eastern starting point of the Silk Road. Transferred
to Xi'an Hotel(4-star) or similar hotel.

Day 3
7:30-8:00 Breakfast at the hotel.
8:30-18:00 Visit the Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses, and the Bronze Chariots, City Wall. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Provincial Museum and Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
18:30-20:00 Dinner at a restaurant. Tang Dynasty show after dinner.
22:30 Back to the train which departs for Jiayuguan Pass.

Day 4
8:00 Morning call.
8:30-9:30 Breakfast on board the train.
10:00-11:00 A forum at the bar carriage
12:30-14:00 Lunch at the dining car
14:30-16:30 A forum at the bar carriage.
18:30-20:00 Dinner at the dining car.

Day 5
7:00 Morning call.
7:35 Arrive at the Jiayuguan Pass.
8:00-9:00 Breakfast at a hotel.
9:00-12:00 Visit west ends of the Great Wall, a painted corridor and the Great Wall Museum.
12:00 Back on board the train which departs for Liuyuan.
12:30-14:00 Lunch at the dining car.
18:00 Arrive at Liuyuan Railway Station.
18:00-20:00 Leave for Dunhuang by bus. Stay overnight at Dunhuang Hotel(4-star) or similar hotel.

Day 6
7:00 Morning call.
7:30-8:30 Breakfast at the hotel.
8:30-18:30 Visit Mogao Grottoes, Mingsha Sand Dune, Crescent-Moon Spring, and take a ride on camelback. Lunch at a restaurant.
19:00-20:00 Dinner at the hotel.
20:00-22:00 Return to Liuyuan Railway Station by bus.
22:00 Back on board the train which departs for Turpan.

Day 7 Urumuqi (June 10 or October 02)
6:30 Morning call.
7:00-8:00 Breakfast at the dining car.
8:00 Arrive at Turpan.
8:30-17:30 Visit the ancient city of Jiaohe, Karez wells, a Uygur family, Valley of Vineyards, a free market, etc. Lunch at a restaurant.
18:00-19:00 Dinner at a hotel.
20:00 Back on board the train which departs for Urumqi.
22:00 Arrive in Urumqi.
