How can I reserve a Yangtze Cruise cabin?
Once you decide to make a booking with us, please email us the full name (as appears on the passport), passport number and nationality of each passenger.

How do I pay for the cruise fare?
WIRE TRANSFER is preferred, but 
payment by credit cards is also accepted (VISA, MasterCard, American Express)

What routes are available?
Downstream:
Chongqing - Yichang (4 days 3 nights)
Chongqing - Wuhan (5 days 4 nights)
Chongqing - Shanghai (7 days 6 nights)
Upstream:
Shanghai - Chongqing (9 days 8 nights)
Wuhan - Chongqing (6 days 5 nights)
Yichang - Chongqing (5 days 4 nights)

Which ruote is the better?
Most of the people choose downstream, simply because Chongqing has a larger airport. And Chongqing to Yichang trip takes 3 nights 4 days, it is the shortest.
Some cruise lines, say China Regal and Victoria Cruises, offer the same price for upriver trips, although it takes one day longer.

What is included in the cruise price?
Depend on which cruise you book, normally the cruise price includes the accommodation, all meals on board ship (except the dinner of the boarding day), shore excursions and port taxes. The extra costs would be tipping which is discretionary, drinks in bars, long distance telephone calls and faxes, laundry, barbershop, clinics, massage, shopping and other expenses of personal nature.

When is the best time to travel on a Yangtze cruise?
It is okay to travel any time the ships are sailing. The most popular times to cruise are April, May, September, October and even November as the good weather lingers much longer in China than in North America.

Are there still people taking a cruise on Yangtze?
According to a report, in 2005 there are around 200,000 non-Chinese travellers came to see the Three Gorges. Most of them are coming with escorted tour groups.

Do the staff on the cruise speak English?
Yes, some speaks pretty well.

Are there private facilities in the cabins?
Yes, all cabins are equipped with a washbasin plus a shower or bathtub (depending on the cabin you choose)

Are there any limits for luggage?
There are no rules for the number of the pieces or weight of personal luggage on your cruise ship.

Is there entertainment on board?
The management organizes programs such as visiting ashore three or four times, two or three theme evenings, around four lectures on clinics, Kungfu and fitness, Chinese painting and calligraphy performance, and competition.
Evenings are Orient-style and performers by staff. Sometimes, singer stars, local actors can be invited to the show, don't expect a Las Vegas revue but you will be entertained.

Is the smoke allowed on the ship?
No smoking in public. You could smoke on the deck outside if you want.

Is there any advise for shore excursions?
Don't leave the group as you please when visit on shore and go back to the ship on time and not to forget the ship card. The shore excursions requrie a certain amount of walking.

Are there daily activities?
Absolutely. You can choose from morning exercises, bingo, arts and crafts demonstrations, yoga demonstrations, lectures on Chinese history and modern culture. (Subject to availability).
