I cannot say enough about Michael Wu and his good arrangements of our Yangtze Three Gorges Trip.  He answered every e-mail in a timely and helpful way, even when the questions were trivial (like what kind of clothes to bring, etc.).
We were travelling just as an independant couple.  We had already been to China once (but no time for the River trip) in the hands of a professional tour agency and we found that informing but very constricting.  This time we wanted to do things on our own time schedule, but knew we needed help with reservations on the ship and internal flights, etc. We found him on the internet and were cautious.  However, Michael delivered everything just as he said, and had a good English speaking agent meet us at every juncture.  In each case (at Chonqping and Yicheng) his agents offered us short afternoon tours to fill the hours between flights. Although they were an additional minimal price, we were not pressured to accept and in both cases, were well worth the additional Yuan.
The arrangements we asked him for, were quickly made and we were well informed about every connection.  As we lived through the trip, there were no disappointments or loose ends.  It was as he promised and the price was above board and fair.
In fact, he answered all my e-mails so quickly, I accused him of not ever sleeping since there is a considerable time lag between California and China. When we asked some of his agents about him, they confirmed that he hardly does anything except attend to business and is very intent and professional in building the business. I hope this helpful to you.  We found him trustworthy, hard working and professional.  The trip on the River was also delightful and I would recommend it to anyone.
